Fascination Fiss-Serfaus-Ladis
Situated on a high plateau around 500 metres above the Oberinntal valley, the holiday region offers a perfect oasis for holidaymakers who want to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The three villages of Serfaus, Fiss and Ladis lie at the foot of the Samnaun group in the Oberes Gericht and have grown together to form an attractive holiday region. With over 2,000 hours of sunshine per year, the region is one of the sunniest areas in Tyrol and is particularly popular with families.
In Ladis, originally a Rhaeto-Romanic village, the characteristic townscape with its centuries-old farmhouses, façade paintings and ornate carvings on the gables is still well preserved. In neighbouring Fiss, an old custom is kept alive with the Fisser Blochziehen: The carnival with bear drivers, spooky witches and tail devils attracts numerous visitors to the high plateau every four years.
In winter, the ski arena is transformed into a paradise for hikers and mountain bikers. Skiing enthusiasts have almost unlimited possibilities in winter in the extensive ski area around the Zwölferkopf and the Obere Scheid. Around 70 lifts open up a huge ski area with pistes for all levels of difficulty and fantastic ski routes. Relaxation can be found in the wellness centres between the slopes.
When the snow recedes in spring and the flower meadows blossom, Fiss-Serfaus-Ladis is transformed into a true summer paradise. The warm months invite you to enjoy a variety of activities that perfectly combine nature and adventure.
Hiking enthusiasts can look forward to a well-marked network of hiking trails that lead through the impressive mountain landscape. From leisurely strolls along rushing streams to challenging summit tours - everyone will find their personal dream route here. Mountain bikers also get their money's worth in Fiss-Serfaus-Ladis. Numerous trails offer variety and challenges for all skill levels.
